QUEENS - A Lyndhurst man and two New York men are facing charges for allegedly kidnapping a man off a New York street and holding him hostage for over a month.

Police say the three men grabbed Pedro Portugal off a Queens street on April 18 and held him in a warehouse, where he was beaten and burned with acid.

The three suspects allegedly forced Portugal to call his family in Ecuador, asking for $3 million in ransom. The suspects face 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
