WEEHAWKEN - Thousands of people are packing the shores along the Hudson River to watch the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks 2013 display.

This year's theme is called "It Begins With a Spark."

Forty-thousand shells were loaded onto four barges in Staten Island. The barges will sit on the Hudson River for the show to be seen by tens of millions of people on television and in person.

In New Jersey, many are gathering in Hoboken and Weehawken early to stake out a good spot to view the show. Several road closures are expected in the area.
