SOUTH BRUNSWICK - Drivers are dealing with slippery roads once again as a quick-moving weather system moves across the state.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of the state today.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says 1 to 2 inches of snow are expected in northern New Jersey. Southern and coastal areas may see little or no accumulation.

The snow is expected to taper off by the early afternoon.

The speed limit has been lowered to 45 mph on the New Jersey Turnpike between the Delaware Memorial Bridge and the George Washington Bridge. The speed limit is 50 mph on the Garden State Parkway between Stafford Township and the New York border.

New Jersey Transit trains and buses are cross-honoring tickets all day.
