NJ couple accused of stealing baby formula

MANALAPAN - A New Jersey couple is accused of stealing $1,500 worth of baby formula and attacking a security guard at a Manalapan Target on Route 9 yesterday afternoon.

Police report that this couple has robbed at least two other stores in New Jersey.

When the Target security guard confronted the thieves, he was punched several times and thrown to the ground, according to the Manalapan police.

The couple then preceded to get into their car and leave the area with the stolen baby formula.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, 5'8" and between 180 - 200 pounds, with a mustache. The other suspect is a black female in her 30s to early 40s.

The suspects are facing both robbery and aggravated assault charges.
