CHERRY HILL - A woman is drawing a lot of attention after she shared a video online of her abortion procedure.

Emily Letts, 25, is an abortion counselor at the Cherry Hill Women’s Center.

Letts said she made her experience public so that others can see a “positive abortion story.”

“I wanted to show it wasn’t scary — and that there is such a thing as a positive abortion story,” Letts said in an essay in Cosmopolitan magazine. “It’s my story.”

The video (which is safe for work) showed everything from the pregnancy confirmation to the actual abortion itself.

Letts said in the essay that the video has drawn a rush of both positive and negative reaction. However she’s not regretting the decision. “Every time I watch the video, I love it. I love how positive it is. I think that there are just no positive abortion stories on video for everyone to see,” Letts said in the Cosmo essay. “I was able to learn and move forward. And I am grateful that I can share my story and inspire other women to stop the guilt,”
