HAZLET - Back in November, dozens of News 12 New Jersey viewers pitched in to help make our Hurricane Sandy donation drive a huge success.

With your help, 30 box trucks filled with supplies were donated to the Salvation Army. Those donations are going straight to families and individuals hit-hard by Hurricane Sandy.

Today, News 12 New Jersey’s Della Crews stopped by the Salvation Army’s Emergency Assistance Center in Hazlet to show how the agency is helping those around New Jersey achieve long-term recovery.

The center is 745 Poole Ave. and hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday and Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The center is closed on Sundays. Please note that this center is not a drop-off site. To make an appointment, please call 1-888-247-0100.
