EDISON - Following a Kane in Your Corner investigation that exposed waste and abuse, the Passaic Valley Sewerage Authority is under criminal investigation.

New Jersey's attorney general is looking into alleged abuse exposed by the investigation, such as lavish spending, including trips to Alaska, and alleged no-show jobs.

The Kane in Your Corner investigation also showed that the executive director made more than $300,000 a year and that employees were running political campaigns while on the job. The state attorney general is trying to determine if the abuses allegedly taking place at the agency were serious enough to have broken the law.
