News 12 catches up with Jim Norton

EDISON - New Jersey native Jim Norton is known for his biting wit and wisecracks on ?The Opie and Anthony Show.? News 12 New Jersey?s John Bathke caught up with Norton at New York City?s Carolines Comedy Club.

Norton tells News 12 New Jersey that he thinks the harshness of the New Jersey and New York area makes comedians tougher and funnier. Norton says, ?When the audience comes after you, you don't back off, you know how to handle it, it thickens your skin. And you're willing to take more risks because you're OK with silence."

Norton is appearing at Carolines Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are still available.
