EDISON - This week's joint Sandy relief drive partnering News 12 New Jersey with the Salvation Army wrapped up last night. It was a tremendous success thanks to the generosity of News 12 New Jersey viewers.

Cara Di Falso and Della Crews were on hand at the Ocean County mall last night helping with donations. Earlier this week, drives were held at the Livingston Mall and the Menlo Park Mall.

News 12 New Jersey encouraged viewers to bring non-perishable food, baby products, personal hygiene items, tolietries, cleaning supplies and bottled water, as well as monetary donations.

At the end of day three, 30 trucks full of donated items are packed and ready to go straight to New Jersey victims of Sandy.

The donated items will all stay in New Jersey.

Anyone who still wishes to donate items may contact the Salvation Army at Salvation Army Donation Information.
