NEWARK - Newark police say they have sent out a warning that prostitution won't be tolerated and have taken action in a citywide crackdown starting this past weekend.

The operation was spawned by complaints from the public. So far 10 arrests have been made for prostitution and another arrest for weapons charges.

Detective Hubert Henderson, of the Newark Police Department, says, "We put this operation in play to let people know we're not going to accept that here."
