EDISON - Newark Mayor and candidate for the U.S. Senate seat in New Jersey Cory Booker says he's not fazed by the criticism over his Twitter exchange with a Portland stripper.

Booker says he talks to anyone from any walk of life and that some are trying to make something out of nothing.

"The reality is that this is just who I am. You people might have some sort of prurient interest beyond that, but at the end of the day this is about expressing kindness to folks...and honestly, going forward in the future when it comes to talking, especially to New Jerseyans I'm not going to come with judgment," Booker said.

Lynsie Lee is the woman on the other side of the Twitter conversation. She agrees the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. She says people only care because of her profession.
