Newark man charged in deadly Freehold Township arson

FREEHOLD - (AP) - Authorities have accused a Newark man withsetting fire to a home in Monmouth County which claimed the life ofa man in July.

Fifty-four-year-old Richard Busby is held on $1.5 million bail,charged with murder and aggravated arson.

Firefighters found 42-year-old Michael Conway's FreeholdTownship home engulfed in flames on July 31. His body was foundinside the home.

Monmouth County Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor RichardIncremona told the Asbury Park Press thefire was intentionally set.

Authorities are not saying whether the men knew each other.Incremona says the investigation is ongoing.
