NEWARK - The Bridge Street Bridge that connects Harrison and Newark is back in place after it was stuck in the upright position most of the afternoon.

The bridge has been opened to pedestrians and traffic. One worker speculated that a motor issue was to blame for the bridge getting stuck.

Crews had to use a 50 ton winch to help put the bridge back into place.
