NEWARK - Newark Liberty International Airport, closed since Sunday due to the massive snowstorm, began getting inbound flights this morning.

Officials say there still could be days of backlog for people who were supposed to travel after the holiday weekend. Port Authority officials say 400 flights had already been canceled in and out of the airport today.

Several passengers tell News 12 New Jersey many hotels near the airport are booked solid, leaving them with nowhere to go.

The FAA website reports that there could be heavy delays on arrivals at the airport due to a ground delay program.
