PATERSON - Police have released new surveillance video of the violent Paterson bodega robbery last Wednesday.

Authorities are looking for two people who robbed the Esperanza Pueblo Grocery on the 400 block of Broadway. The store owner and her son were shot during a struggle with a suspect. They survived the shooting.

The robbery prompted a controversial plan to close businesses early on the weekends. The measure is intended to help thwart an uptick in violent crime.
