TRENTON - Trenton's new mayor says he's ready to bring some new faces into the the capital city and he isn't wasting any time.
One day after his inauguration, Mayor Eric Jackson announced plans to make major changes to his cabinet, including hiring a new police director.
Under a deal for state aid, the city has to run all new hires past the administration, and Jackson says he's already gotten approval.

"Every mayor has that prerogative, and I wanted to bring some folks that I know, going into the gate, have the same vision, the passion to move this city forward," he says.
The mayor also hired a new business administrator. Both positions were previously held by appointees of now convicted Mayor Tony Mack.
