New schedule takes effect for NJ Transit rail riders

NEWARK - New Jersey Transit rail riders should check their schedules.

A new schedule took effect Sunday that gives passengers more options for the summer.

Beachgoers will not need to change trains in Long Branch starting June 26.

Five weekday stops to New York will be added in Essex County at Millburn, Maplewood, South Orange, Orange and Brick Church on the Morris & Essex Lines.
