EDISON - The federal government has been shut down for three days, and New Jerseyans are still talking about it.

National Parks remain closed and federal employees are not working. Patrons at the Skylark Diner in Edison say they are disappointed in the government and the elected officials.

"Blame the Republicans," says Mark Anderl, of North Brunswick. "It's extremely disappointing and I hope the situation improves."

"I'm very disappointed in the whole process," says Andy Goold, from New York. "I think the government has let the public down, everybody down."

Others tell News 12 New Jersey they are glad the shutdown has not affected them, but worry about those it has.
