EDISON - Many procrastinating New Jersey shoppers were out in full force Christmas Eve to get their last-minute gifts.

The Kohl's in Woodland Park was open for 170 hours straight leading up to Christmas. Other stores like Barnes & Noble and Target also had extended hours ahead of Christmas Day. Some retailers in the area even promised to stay open until midnight.

Shoppers say the long hours were great for just about everyone, except the store workers themselves.

Other New Jersey shoppers stopped by grocery stores to get all the items needed for Christmas dinner.
