METUCHEN - After a number of snow storms left New Jersey with a thick coating of snow, residents have a new winter worry: the extreme cold.

Temperatures are expected the slip into the single digits and, coupled with strong winds, may dip below zero.

Officials are urging residents to avoid going outside and to bundle up in multiple layers when they must.

Some residents say that with all the snow and frigid weather that's slammed Garden State lately, they may just move.
