New Jersey Devils host Toys for Tots event at Prudential Center

NEWARK - The New Jersey Devils, along with the United States Marine Corps, are hosting a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots.

The event will take place Wednesday as the team hosts the Ottawa Senators at Prudential Center at 7:30 p.m.

The Devils request that all fans attending the game bring new, unwrapped toys. Representatives from a U.S. Marines company based in Dover will collect the toys at the entrances to the arena.

Anyone making a donation will receive a raffle ticket and be entered to win autographed Devils’ memorabilia. Fans that donate three or more toys will receive a voucher good for two tickets to an upcoming Devils home game.

Devils officials say the toys will be distributed to hospitals and orphanages, and to less-fortunate children in nearby communities.
