HOBOKEN - Saturday, Dec. 12 would have been Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday and all around the Garden State Sinatra fans are celebrating.

At the Cedar Crest senior living home in Pompton Plains, residents got together to sing happy birthday to the music legend. Many of them say that they grew up listening to Sinatra and were able to see him perform when he was young.

In Sinatra’s home town of Hoboken, city officials had a birthday cake at City Hall. It’s something officials do every year.

There will be a Sinatra tribute concert at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken Saturday night, along with a special gala to mark his birthday.
