JERSEY CITY - A 38-story tower full of luxury apartments will be going up on Washington Boulevard in Jersey City in the next few years.

The new high rise will adjoin the current Marbella Building and will be called "M-2." It is expected to open in 2015.

Mayor Steven Fulop says the construction jobs it will bring are good for Jersey City. "Our goal is to lead the state of New Jersey in job creation,” he says. “This will be another 400 construction jobs and then permanent jobs as well."

The new tower will have just more than 300 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments.
