NEW BRUNSWICK - A New Brunswick pub scheduled to host a filming of "Girls Gone Wild" has announced it has canceled the event.

The event had been part of a co-promotional event with an online clothing store run by two Rutgers University juniors, according to a MyCentralJersey.com report.

Anik Chadha and Romit Patel, who founded GetYourGreek.com, reportedly invited the production company to film at the Golden Rail Irish Pub on Easton Avenue in an apparent attempt to draw attention to their new business.

Some students and officials criticized the event saying they were concerned of a repeat of last spring's Rutgersfest, where several shootings and stabbings took place.

According to the report, GetYourGreek.com's founders say it was not the company's intention to promote those problems and had lined up security measures to keep the event under control.
