NEWARK - (AP) - Authorities say three New Jersey brothershave been arrested for allegedly selling baby formula stolen fromretail stores in several southern states.

Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, says the formulawas being sold out of the Los Hermanos grocery store in Union City. Arrested were brothers Hamad Siyam, 42, Ali Siyam, 49, both ofNorth Bergen, and Rawhi Siyam, 44, of West New York.

Others part of the alleged ring were arrested in North Carolinaand Pennsylvania.

The Siyam brothers were each charged with one count ofconspiracy to receive and sell stolen baby formula, and one countof conspiracy to launder money. Ali Siyam was charged with tryingto avoid federal reporting requirements.
