BRICK - A municipal building in Brick reopened today after it was forced to shut its doors yesterday because of a bed bug infestation.

Brick Mayor Stephen Acropolis confirmed the discovery of bed bugs, and said closing the building was a matter of public safety.

The building was closed all day yesterday to allow exterminators to deal with the infestation.

Residents who needed to use the building yesterday have been given a grace period.
