TRENTON - Firefighters in Trenton were very busy Thursday as three fires broke out across the city.

Crews have contained a multi-alarm fire at a large, but vacant warehouse on Taylor Street. There are no reports of any injuries.

Plumes of black smoke filled the sky soon after the fire broke out at around 10:15 a.m.

Fire officials say that crews worked to keep the blaze from spreading to an adjacent warehouse filled with furniture.

Officials say firefighters started the day battling a fire in an abandoned row home on Centre Street at around 8:30 a.m.

No one was injured in that fire, but 10 people were displaced.

Just before noon, firefighters were also called to a house fire on Monmouth Street. They were able to rescue two women and a baby from the blaze.  The victims were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Firefighters from several surrounding communities were also called in to help cover the city.
