MOUNT ARLINGTON - A Morris County man is celebrating after his pumpkin won first place at a fair over the weekend.

Kim Joseph Puig's 910-pound pumpkin placed first at the South Jersey Pumpkin Show Family Fall Festival.

Puig says his passion for growing pumpkins developed after he planted a few in his own yard a few years ago, and the hobby just grew from there.

The gourd is now on display at Pub 199 in Mount Arlington.
