More water main breaks reported in Elizabeth

ELIZABETH - Another series of water main breaks in Elizabeth impacted residents Thursday.

According to the director of Water and Sewer Utilities, crews have isolated the leak and are working on repairs.

New Jersey American Water says workers were repairing at least four water main breaks Thursday morning. The issues come after crews fixed eight breaks in the city earlier this week.

American Water says the bursts are unusual and the company believes they are pressure-related.

No customers were without water Thursday evening.
