LITTLE FALLS - More students could be implicated in the Passaic Valley High School sexting case.

A 16-year-old boy from West Orange and a 16-year-old girl from Little Falls were charged Tuesday with distributing child pornography after eight nude pictures and several sexual videos of underage students were discovered on the 16-year-old girl's phone.

The photos and videos were allegedly shared to other students, and may have also been posted on social media sites. It is possible more students will be implicated once investigators discover who shared the pictures and videos.

The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and Little Falls Police Department are investigating.
