More New Jersey residents expected to travel by car this Labor Day holiday weekend

AAA expects a million New Jersey residents to travel by car during this Labor Day holiday weekend. That's a 5 percent increase from last year.

EDISON - AAA expects a million New Jersey residents to travel by car during this Labor Day holiday weekend.

That's a 5 percent increase from last year.

Although regular gas went up two cents today, experts say people are still opting to drive since it's still cheaper than this time last year.

In the Garden State, the average price of regular gas is $3.46. Last year it was $3.66.
