MONTCLAIR - Two Montclair State University students are facing charges for alleged aggravated hazing.

Cedar Grove police say Christian Calderon, 21, and his Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity brother Joseph Cordasco, 20, subjected an 18-year-old pledge to hazing so rough that the pledge got injured and required surgery.

Montclair State University condemned the alleged hazing, saying the school has a zero-tolerance policy against it. University police worked with the Cedar Grove Police Department on the investigation.
