WEST LONG BRANCH - Students and staff at Monmouth University focused on going green for Earth Day Tuesday.

LED light bulbs were given away on the West Long Branch college campus as part of the celebration.

Free seed packets were also available to students and faculty as well as energy-saving tips.

"If I can make the change, I can influence my friends to make a change, and it'll be like a chain reaction kind of thing," says sophomore Faith Blamon.

Earth Day celebrations will continue at the university Wednesday as the community garden that donates fresh produce to local organizations opens its doors for planting.
