FREEHOLD - The 20th Annual Monmouth County Sheriff Youth Week program is under way.

The program allows young people to explore interests in law enforcement through police academy-style training, drill and exercise programs and instructional sessions.

Organizers reported a record enrollment this year with over 100 students from 34 Monmouth County communities. Sheriff's Youth Week is free of charge and open to all Monmouth County residents of high school age.
