TOMS RIVER - As the latest snowstorm tracks south, bringing relief to those in northern New Jersey, parts of central and southern New Jersey are still expecting moderate snowfall.

Ocean County is expected to be hit the hardest, with 6 to 8 inches forecast by the time the storm ends Monday.

Stores are stocking up on much-needed road salt, which has been in short supply because of the very snowy winter this year. One hardware store owner in Monmouth County says the shipment he got in Sunday was the first time he had it in stock in over two months.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for parts of Ocean, Monmouth and Mercer Counties through Monday afternoon. A winter weather advisory has been issued for most other counties.
