Police seek missing girl in Garfield

GARFIELD - A 12-year-old girl missing from Garfield has been found safe in Hasbrouck Heights.

Juliette Lowney was reported missing by her mother just after 10 a.m. Friday.

Garfield police immediately responded and began searching for her.

A passerby noticed her walking along Route 46 in Hasbrouck Heights several hours later and called the police.

Lowney has returned home to her family. There is no information available regarding why she went missing.
