CLARK - The missing teen from Clark who tweeted that someone was in her house has been found safely in South Jersey.
State troopers found Kara Alongi safe and unharmed. She was discovered by troopers at around 4:30 p.m. yesterday walking along the side of the New Jersey Turnpike near exit 1.
Clark police say she was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation. She was reunited with her family a short time after.
The 16-year-old gained hundreds of followers after asking people on Twitter to call 911 Sunday. Authorities said evidence later pointed toward the teen being an apparent runaway. Surveillance video showed her at the Rahway train station on Sunday after the tweet was sent.
