EATONTOWN - Residents living near the former Fort Monmouth property can expect to hear military training exercises over the next few days.

Eatontown police is warning its residents that training exercises involving helicopters and simulated explosives are expected through Friday evening.

The borough is asking residents to refrain from calling the police department about the training.

Last month, a group of soldiers alarmed residents near Long Branch, Eatontown and Tinton Falls when they began similar training exercises.
