Meeting scheduled tonight over Clinton Twp. schools radon testing

CLINTON TOWNSHIP - An open meeting is expected to be held tonight to discuss the results of radon testing at several Clinton Township schools.

The Clinton Township Middle School and Spruce Run Elementary School both recently tested positive for the cancer-causing, radioactive gas.

Both schools tested above what the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers to be "action level." The superintendent says that the schools' radon ratings, which are between 4 and 11, are still well below the 100 rating that would require relocating.
