March Madness celebrations curb productivity

Workers across New Jersey are taking long lunches and using vacation days to catch NCAA tournament games. (3/21/13)

BRANCHBURG - March Madness officially kicked off this afternoon, marking the start of traditions that include extra long lunches.

Many offices in New Jersey do suffer a slight drop in worker productivity this time of year.

Some employees, like John Marques, say they use up vacation days around this time of year to catch games.
