Some homeowners who live nearby told News 12 New Jersey they saw smoke and thought that the crash was an earthquake. Many say they consider themselves lucky following today's crash.

A lot of the debris, including the tail landed in nearby residential neighborhoods. On Spring Brook Avenue in Morris Township, pieces fell on roofs and in trees.

With Morristown Municipal Airport just a few miles away from where the crash occurred, many of the people News 12 New Jersey spoke with said they are used to planes flying overhead.

However, many agree it'll take some time to get comfortable with those noises again.
