TRENTON - Many public employees appear to be getting out while the getting is good.

According to the Associated Press, 60-percent more employees are retiring this year as opposed to 2009.

Gov. Chris Christie's (R-N.J.) plans for pension reform include raising the retirement age and canceling some cost of living adjustments. Changes, his office says, are needed to save the system. Retiring before the changes take effect could save workers lots of money.
