Many in Ocean Grove still shoveling out

OCEAN GROVE - Frustrations are running high in parts of Monmouth County, where some streets have still not seen a plow after Sunday's blizzard.

Some streets remained impassable Thursday afternoon and residents said it is unacceptable.

Ocean Grove hairstylist Ellen Bochicchio said she lost most of her wages this week because she couldn't get out on the road. She said she ultimately paid someone to dig out her car.

Another Ocean Grove resident, Sylvia Glass, blamed it on the incompetence of town workers.

"I've let out some obscenities that I don't want to tell myself about," Glass says. "And it's a disgrace to me 'cause I'm born and raised in New Jersey."

Officials say Ocean Grove's streets should be completely plowed by tonight.
