Manville businesses worried about bridge closure
MANVILLE - The Manville Causeway, which spans the Delaware and Raritan Canal, will be shut down next month for repairs.
Transportation officials will be making repairs to the bridge on Weston Canal Road in Franklin Township beginning on or about March 10.
The repairs are expected to last until the summer, and business owners who rely on the constant traffic say they're worried how the work will affect their bottom line.

"Manville can't handle another hit, honestly," says Mark Levash, of Pizza and Pasta. "With Superstorm Sandy, the numerous floods we have had in the last two months. Business has been horrible because of the cold weather and the snow. To shut down that bridge from now until July can't happen."
County officials say a detour around the area will be posted once work begins.
