Manhunt continues for dad accused of killing daughter

LAKEHURST - Officials from 13 local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies are still searching for the Eatontown man who was charged with killing his 2-year-old daughter.

Monmouth County prosecutors announced yesterday that they have filed a murder charge against 27-year-old Arthur Morgan III.

Police say 2-year-old Tierra Morgan lived in Lakehurst with her mother. She was having a court-approved visit with her father Monday, but he never returned with her.

Her body was discovered Tuesday strapped into her car seat, face down in a stream in Shark River Park. An autopsy shows she drowned.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office says Morgan was last seen Monday between the hours of 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. on the platform of the Asbury Park train station.

A warrant from Ocean County charging Morgan with child endangerment and interference with custody was issued before the girl's body was found.
