WEEHAWKEN - A chaotic search around the Lincoln Tunnel Tuesday night caused delays for commuters in the area, and authorities aren't saying much about the person they were looking for.

Several law enforcement agencies participated in the manhunt, which began after police reportedly received a call from someone threatening to do harm in New York.

The call was tracked to the Weehawken/Hoboken area. Police from both towns, New Jersey State Police, Port Authority and New Jersey Transit police searched buildings, rooftops and eventually a train.

Police went from car to car with guns drawn, searching for a suspect on a light-rail train stopped near Lincoln Harbor in Weehawken.

During the search, streets in and out of Hoboken were blocked, causing major delays for drivers and bus riders coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel.

Rail and bus service in the area has been restored.
