Man struck, killed helping other driver

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Police say a man was struck and killed while trying to help another driver following a crash in Hamilton Township.

State police say the victim had pulled over to help after another car had lost control and crashed.

They say a truck then hit and killed him as he was getting out of his car. The man has not been identified.

The incident happened on the westbound side of 195 near Exit 2 around 6:30 a.m.

The truck driver remained on scene and police say no arrests have been made at this time.
