JERSEY CITY - A murder charge has been filed against a Jersey City man accused of beating his ex-girlfriend and pushing her out of a third-floor window with their infant son in her arms.

Frederico Bruno was charged today with felony murder and burglary in connection to the death of his son, 3-month-old Damien Bruno, Acting Hudson Prosecutor Gaetano Gregory said today.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said an autopsy on the child revealed that the cause of death was multiple blunt force traumas and the manner of death was homicide.

Bruno continues to be held in the Hudson County Jail on a $1 million cash only bail.
