Man beaten in Seaside Park on Memorial Day weekend dies

SEASIDE PARK - A man allegedly beaten by two teenagers in Seaside Park on Memorial Day weekend has died this morning.

Kamau Keita, 27, from Trenton, was beaten in a parking lot near the boardwalk on May 28, according to police.

Officials say David Armfield and Marquis McRae, both 19 and from Paterson, were arrested in connection with the beating and their charges have been upgraded to murder.

They are both currently being held on $500,000 bond each.
