Lucky Pet shop owner accused of selling sick dogs

The owner of a Hudson County pet shop was arrested and his store was closed over accusations he sold sick dogs.

UNION CITY - The owner of a Hudson County pet shop was arrested and his store was closed over accusations he sold sick dogs.

The NJSPCA says that Oscar Cardenas, owner of the Luck Pet store in Union City, sold dogs that needed to be treated for Giardia. 

Giardia is a type of infection dogs can get.

Eight dogs were taken from that pet store. Three of them died.
